Our Research
Our lab’s mission to reduce pediatric morbidity and mortality using health services research (HSR) and community-engaged research (CEnR/CBPR) approaches. Our work spans several key areas:
Project 1: Geospatial Analysis
Through collaborations with the UConn GIS Health Lab at Connecticut Children’s we investigate the impact of place on pediatric health disparities.
Project 2: Low Value Care
Collaborating with Dr. Kimia’s NLP tool DrT to investigate predictors of Low Value Care in pediatrics.
Project 3: Health Services Research
Using large datasets, we analyze the impact of social determinants of health on pediatric respiratory morbidity and mortality.
