Welcome to the Hogan Lab
Welcome!
We are excited to have you visit the Hogan Lab. We are a diverse group of clinicians, researchers, and trainees working to improve pediatric health outcomes through rigorous clinical and health services research.
Our Focus
Our work centers on pediatric respiratory illness — bronchiolitis, RSV, asthma, and emerging conditions such as Cannabis Hyperemesis Syndrome — using large national datasets, clinical trials, and multi-center collaborations to generate evidence that changes practice.
Our Approach
Our approach is methodologically diverse - we use whatever scientific methods are necessary to create rigorous, reproducible, and transparent research. As a member of our research community, you’ll find:
- Large database and multi-center health services research
- Prospective cohort and clinical trial design
- Focus on pediatric respiratory and infectious disease outcomes
- Commitment to translating findings into clinical practice
